When is best to book your winter ski break
A question we get asked often is – when is best to book your winter ski and snowboard break?
If you are booking flights separately then it is always better to get ahead of the crowds and book these as early as possible. The main airlines release their flights early and often have massive savings on flight prices and it is easier to get the dates, times and routes you want all at a reasonable cost.
If you have specific dates in mind such as Christmas, New Year, Half Term and Easter the prices don’t drop as it gets nearer to the time you book as there is sufficient demand to keep the prices high. In Low Season dates, as long as you are flexible on where you stay, then you can still bag yourself a bargain.
For groups wanting to stay in the same hotel or apartment complex then definitely booking ahead is preferred and families looking for family rooms then this is a must before they all sell out.
Many hotels are offering free cancellations at the moment too so there is no or little risk to planning ahead.
