El Tarter Group Lessons

5 days (total 15 hours) - 3 hours per day

4 days (total 12 hours) - 3 hours per day

3 days (total 9 hours) - 3 hours per day

Adults 18+ years, Youth 12-17 years and Children 6 – 11 years. Children aged 3 – 5 years will go to the Snow Garden

Snowboard group lessons in El Tarter are from 3 years old where they can join the half day snow garden or the full day kids program.

El Tarter Ski & Snowboard School Times

Monday or Saturday start - 10.00H-13.00H or 14.00H-17.00H

Lesson times are allocated by the ski school and could be morning or afternoon. If you have preference please let us know and we will do our best. High season weeks must be booked as far in advance as possible to get the time slot you prefer.

El Tarter - Ski School Group Lesson Information

Group lessons are divided into the following groups:

Beginners – Those who have never skied before.

Level 1 (Green/Blue) - Those who have completed a few hours of skiing before.

Level 2 (Blue/Red) - Intermediate level

Level 3 (Red/Black) - Experienced skiers

Weekend Ski & Snowboard School

We also have a 2 day weekend Ski & Snowboard school on a Saturday & Sunday (3 hours per day)

• Saturday & Sunday - 6 hours (2 Days: 3 hours per day)

• From Beginners Level, right through to Intermediate Level, and Advanced Level.

Weekend ski school times - 10:00H to 13:00H

El Tarter - Private Lessons

Private lessons are available to book for all days subject to availability - To make a reservation, please send us your requirements to info@SkiAndorraHolidays.com. We will need to know how many people (up to 6), how many hours per day (2, 3 or 4) and how many days. All people attending the private lesson should be similar levels.

El Tarter - Snow Garden Information

Looking after the younger ones can often make the difference to the holiday so having a safe environment where they can learn to ski or snowboard and play is essential.

• The Snow Garden accepts children between 3 and 5 years old.

• 3 hours per day (3, 4 or 5 consecutive days).

• Entry time is from 10.00H (In peak season it can be 14.00H)

• The activity consists of the discovery of skiing or snowboarding through games in the snow in a space reserved and controlled by qualified instructors.

• The environment is designed for the little ones to enjoy their first contact with skiing, but also for those children who have some knowledge.

• The monitors are qualified to be able to leave the premises and go to the slopes if the group develops favourably.
• Children must have a lift pass which is free for 5 years and under.

• Children must be equipped with ski equipment (skis, boots & helmet) and warm clothes (goggles, gloves, sun protection…).

El Tarter - Kids Full Day Program - Information

The Kids Program is designed specifically for children. It combines ski or snowboard lessons, games and adventure activities, to ensure that children have an unforgettable day. Classes will take place on the children's circuits and are taught by specially trained instructors. Games and activities are organized in the afternoon.

The Kids Program includes: 3 hours ski or snowboard lessons in the morning + lunch + games and activities in the afternoon.

Available for children from 3 to 11 years old. Split into 2 groups 3 to 5 years and 6 to 11 years

• Ski lessons: 10.00H - 13.00H

• Lunch: 13.00H - 14.00H

• Afternoon activities: 14.00H - 16.00H. (activities such as igloo construction, tubing, big airbag, sledges and various activities in the snow weather permitting)

• Pick up at : 16.00H

El Tarter- Nursery Information

The nursery is where the little ones can have the best time while their parents ski. The nursery is for children aged between 2 and 5 years old. Opening hours are from 09.30H - 16.30H. Available to book for 3, 4 or 5 consecutive days for either half a day or a full day. The nursery can start any day of the week.

Children will either be inside or playing outside in the snow.

• The children will be able to play with various toys as well as participate in arts and crafts whilst fully supervised by qualified staff.

• They will not receive ski lessons and the prices do not include food

• Nappies and baby food must be provided if required.

In El Tarter there is aslo “El Floquet” nursery which is for children from 4 months to 2 years. It is located at the bottom of the gondola next to the road in Solana of Tarter Building, Block 6, ground floor. Opening hours are 09.00H to 15.00H (Open til 17.30H for extra payment) Food is not included - either bring your own or you can pay once there.

El Tarter- Ski School Meeting Points

Group lessons

When you arrive at the top of the El Tarter Gondola, head right down the escalator and you will see the Escola D'Esqui ahead of you. You will check in at the window with your ski school ticket.

Private lessons

When you arrive at the top of the Gondola head right down the escalator and across to the Escola D Esqui building and check in at the desk inside. You will then be given a post number to wait at for your instructor. The posts are outside opposite the ski school.

Snow Garden & Nursery

When you arrive at the top of the El Tarter Gondola head right down the escalator and the nursery/guarderia is where you check in for Snow Garden. The first building you see is the ski school and the nursery is the one behind..
